We had booked our flight in Spice-jet and it was 2+ hours journey and we landed at Port Blair. The view of Andaman from the flight looked like "A Showplace of evolution's Slow Magic" 😍😍It was approx. 10 AM by the time we got our baggage and came out of the airport. Adventure trips are not always the ones which they show in the Mountain dew ads, you know the 'darr ke aage jeet hai' ones :P We do have breath taking locations and life-or-death bike trips within our reach. A trip to Coorg is one such weekend escape spot! We are a bunch of corporate techies, so that said, all we have are our weekends to get excited for, and this was a two day trip. Started from Chennai central by Friday evening we got the train to Mysore, reached mysore by Saturday morning 8AM which was already a big delay in our schedule from southern railways!!! Mysore Railway Station  By the time we got our rental bikes it was 10AM in the morning and it was one sunny day! We were a group of 9 guys and rented 3 Avengers and 2 Bullets ( classic 350cc). Every one wanted to drive the bullets, but after the first day ride it was the avengers comfort which won our Backs :P Day one ride started from Mysore, and the destination was Kushal nager by the kalpetta fo

Monsoon Solo Bike Ride Chikmagalur & coorg - Day 2

Day 2 -  After a spiritual journey its time for some greenery and landscape photography. Started my day around 9 from Chikmagalur to  Hebbe Falls. It was a 65 Km ride from the town. The plan was to see all the places near to Hebbe falls.  Tips : Take snacks , water and some SALT ( the reason you will know below).  There are many things available to avoid leeches - get anything available There are absolutely no shops once you reach the mountain. I realized that in a hard way. Within 15 minutes of travel on the way you can see this beautiful  huge  sculpture  of a  lady covered with grass, surely you won't miss this while traveling as it is on the side of the road itself. After admiring the beauty of this statue started the bike and it was a little bit boring and hard drive for 45 km up to Ballavara village as the road is full of twists and turns till Gangur. But this wont continue to be a boring ride as you will be filled with nature's beauty alongside
